Deposit Insurance Fund has collected calendar fees for the first quarter of 2010. The calendar fees has made 831 thsd in AZN, 1mln.345 thsd in USD and 172 thsd in EURO. Quantities of member banks are 43.
The insurance reserves of Deposit Insurance Fund are 25 mln. 697 thsd. 900 AZN.
Total deposits of individuals in the member banks made 2 bln 385 mln AZN. Non-protected deposits are in the amount of 707 mln 690 thsd AZN, while protected deposits 1 bln 678 mln AZN.
Number of protected depositors consists of 5 mln 197 thsd 888 individuals.
Deposits allocated more than 15 % in the member banks are not protected by the Fund from January 1, 2009 and no compensation are paid for them.
It would be mentioned that, the maximum limit of the compensation payments is 30 (thirty) thousand manats now.
Depositors pay no money for the insurance of their deposits. The insurance fees are paid only by banks.
